Martin Beaumont co-founded Electric Green in 2022 with a mission to accelerate the adoption of EVs through an improved consumer experience and a smoother fleet charging process, both of which are facilitated by wireless charging. His interests cover the investment, commercialisation and management of new innovations and technologies and his experience spans electric motors, telecoms (Motorola) and medical devices. Martin holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. Outside of work, Martin enjoys adventure sports (Atlantic Rower) and struggling to keep ahead of 4 boys.

Alicia Blatiak's expertise stems from her rigorous academic background, notably her PhD focused on Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology from Imperial College London and MPhil from University of Cambridge.

With a history rooted in research, particularly on the interplay of transportation and energy systems, and professional stints at organisations such as DNV GL and the International Renewable Energy Agency, Alicia and Gridicity aim to shape the future of EV charging solutions.

Genna Boyle is an experienced energy leader with a background in strategy, origination and trading in the UK and New Zealand electricity sector, with a key focus on renewable generation and battery storage. Before joining Gridcog to lead our expansion into the UK and Europe, Genna was the Head of Commercial at Battery Optimiser and PPA Trader Limejump.

Doug Cook has over 20 years’ experience in the emergence of decentralised energy markets, which he has addressed from multiple angles (as a policy maker, software & technology provider, participant and regulator). Doug started his career as a civil servant, and has also been a diplomat, strategy consultant and advisor to an energy retailer’s CEO. His experience spans the UK, Middle Eastern, Australian, Netherlands and German power markets. He holds degrees in economics, international affairs and renewable energy engineering.

Will Maden has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Will is currently the COO at Fuuse, a company specializing in charge point management systems. Will is responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Prior to this, Will served as the CIO at Fuuse, where they played a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative solutions for charge point management, billing, and energy management.

Before joining Fuuse, Will worked as a CIO at Miralis Data, where they leveraged their expertise in data analytics, algorithm development, and artificial intelligence to provide solutions to various businesses. Will has successfully delivered significant productivity gains and cost-savings to companies, including Europcar, Co-Op Group, Ford, and others.

Will has also been actively involved in the EV charging industry, serving as a Director at Charge my Street. Will played a key role in addressing the challenge of EV charging for households without driveways and managed the installation of charge points through community shares.

James Mater co-founded QualityLogic and is currently the director of strategy for QualityLogic’s Smart Energy business. From 2001 to 2008, James oversaw QualityLogic as President and CEO. From 1994 to 1999, he founded and built Revision Labs, which merged with Genoa Technology to become QualityLogic. Prior to Revision Labs, James held product management roles at Tektronix, Floating Point Systems, Sidereal and Solar Division of International Harvester. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Reed College, Portland, OR and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Marc Mültin has over 13 years of experience in the e-mobility space and holds a PhD in Computer Science. He is the leading global expert and co-author of international EV communication standards (ISO 15118 & OCPP 2.0.1) that underpin the Switch platform.

Andrew Ross is the Founder and Director of Centre for Energy Equality, a social enterprise focused on ensuring equal access to secure, affordable, and sustainable energy solutions for all communities. Prior to this, Andrew held various technical and managerial roles in companies such as AECOM, Frazer-Nash Consultancy, National Grid, and Toyota Tsusho Group. Andrew has a BSc in Geography from Lancaster University, an MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Derby, and has completed the National Grid Construction Engineering Training Programme in Electrical Engineering and Power Systems.

Mike Schooling founded Indra in 2013 fuelled by a passion for harnessing technology to make a difference to sustainability, specifically by supporting the move to a world of net-zero transportation enabled through intelligent home charging technology. Outside of Mike’s technology expertise, he has taken Indra on its journey of growth, from start-up business to becoming a major player within the EV Charger sector.

Josey Wardle is the Innovation Lead for ZEV infrastructure at Innovate UK. She specialises in the infrastructure required to enable zero emission transport, using experience gathered over 13 years working in the EV industry and her recent PhD investigating the future of EV charging.

Josey currently manages the EV charging and V2G/V2X programmes of innovation projects funded by UK Government. Innovate UK is part of UK Research and Innovation, a non-departmental public body, driving productivity and growth by supporting businesses to realise the potential of new technologies, develop ideas and make them a commercial success.
