Tom Guttormson is Principal Technology Engineer for Connexus Energy. His current primary role is evaluation and business assessment for grid automation technology, and overseeing deployment and operations of grid technology initiatives, with primary focus on power supply. He served as lead in business planning and deployment of the Volt/VAR Control system, technical lead for deployment of grid scale solar and storage, commercial solar, and has been involved in all facets of DER interconnections. Tom has been with Connexus for 33 years, has degree in electrical engineering from North Dakota State U, MBA in Technology Management, and is a registered PE in MN.
