Kate currently serves as the manager for power grid automation at G&W Electric. Previously she was a supervisor for the production electronics engineering group, which supports sales orders from quote stage to aftermarket. Kate is actively involved in a number of professional organizations including IEEE (15 years, senior member), IEEE PES (11 years), IEEE SA (7 years) and NEMA (8 years). She has spoken at several Omicron Recloser and DA Conferences in Houston, TX; several times at the December Omicron Conference (Toronto and virtual); the Survalent Users Forum in 2018 and 1022; Distributech in 2022; and on a panel at IEEE PES GM in 2022.
