Maria leads the development of a plan and implementation of strategies that assist the state of Wisconsin in fighting the effects of climate change by using clean energy resources and technology. She has worked for the State of Wisconsin for 21 years. Previous positions include Director of Wisconsin Office of Energy Innovation (State Energy Office), and Senior Analyst & Program Manager, Transportation Fuels. Maria is a Certified Public Manager and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Certificate in African Studies all from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
