Daniel Hilson is the CEO and Founder of BetterFleet, a globally leading provider of software solutions to plan and manage the transition to zero-emission transit fleets. He has extensive experience at the cross-section of energy and transportation with previous experience in both start-ups and in senior roles in global corporations such as Veolia, Siemens, Brookfield Infrastructure and EDF.
Daniel has led strategic engagements on some of the largest and most advanced transit fleet transitions in the Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. He has also authored several leading reports and delivered grants for major governments agencies and research bodies in areas such as grid integration of electric vehicles, battery state of health estimation, decentralized microgrids, mobility infrastructure financing structures and standards development for charging infrastructure.
He holds a Masters of Environmental Science from The University of New South Wales and a Masters of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
